Another day in the sun and on the water with friends, Tom and Linda. We left our anchorage at Useppa Island at 9:40 and had a fun ride to Sanibel Island. Linda and Joyce once again spent time on the bow of the boat watching the dolphins.

We arrived at the Sanibel Marina at 12:20 and docked right across from their well known restaurant, Gramma Dots.  After checking in, we took a ¾ mile hike to the beach.  Tom and Bill eventually walked back to the boat while Linda and Joyce spent more time walking on the beach, and of course picking up many shells.  Then they found a very nice gift shop and then a very nice ice cream shop!

After spending some time just relaxing in the late afternoon, we had dinner on board.  After dinner we enjoyed playing hearts.  A rematch may be required! 

We will stay here another day and rent bikes tomorrow to check out more of this beautiful island.
