December 8, 2015  Day 16 South for the Winter 2015-16

Since we had a short travel day we did not depart Beaufort until 10:15 this morning. Bob and Janet stopped by to say goodbye before they drove home. We hope to see them this spring in Florida.

 
We had an easy cruise of just over three hours – warm, sunny, and calm!  We arrived at our anchorage at 1:30.  We did not want to go further today because we would arrive at a shallow area at low tide later this afternoon.

Bill changed the engine oil this afternoon and Joyce finished wrapping all the Christmas gifts.  We had a dinner onboard and relaxed for the evening.  We will head to an anchorage in Georgia tomorrow.
